Using Ripple design system framework, we expanded Neighborhood Grocery from a startup grocer into a visually inviting environment with multiple avenues of new growth. We designed a scalable, creative framework that feels like a neighborly chat. Ripple helped create a new visual identity, making Neighborhood Grocery instantly recognizable and attracting new customers. This new look strengthens the bond between the store, its community, and the importance of social health.​​​​​​​
We translated human insights into a design language that embodied the spirit of the neighborhood. Bold color palettes, fun typography, and familiar imagery that created a familiar yet modern design system.​​​​​​​  This turned into a defined color palette, typography, and imagery that reflected Neighborhood Grocery’s friendly and approachable character.
We developed a comprehensive set of design guidelines, templates, and assets, ensuring consistency across all platforms.​​​​​​​
We created a platform that offered delivery and pickup options which benefited the business, and had a positive impact on the community, with donations and giveaways helping to address food insecurity. 
Additionally, the streamlined design process enabled faster product launches and promotions, leading to increased customer engagement and local love. Ultimately, NG successfully transformed digital presence into a cohesive and compelling reflection of its Detroit roots, positioning itself as a valuable resource for the community.
