Expanding a local favorite into a cohesive brand with a bold digital and physical presence.
Using Ripple design system framework, Neighborhood Grocery was expanded from a startup grocer into a visually inviting environment with multiple avenues of new growth. We designed a scalable, creative framework that feels like a neighborly chat. This new visual identity made Neighborhood Grocery instantly recognizable and attract new customers. The new look strengthens the bond between the store, its community, and the importance of social health.
We developed a unified brand system, focusing on modern simplicity and versatility. By refining their logo, defining a vibrant color palette, fun typography and creating new digital and in-store applications, we expanded Neighborhood Grocery’s reach while keeping it authentic to its roots.
The comprehensive set of design guidelines, templates, and assets, ensured consistency across all platforms. Here see the applied the refreshed branding to signage, displays, and storefronts.
Neighborhood Grocery’s new identity reflects its role as a cornerstone of the local community, empowering local connections and customer loyalty.
We created a platform that offered delivery and pickup options which benefited the business, and had a positive impact on the community, with donations and giveaways helping to address food insecurity.
Additionally, the streamlined design process enabled faster product launches and promotions, leading to increased customer engagement and local love. Ultimately, NG successfully transformed digital presence into a cohesive and compelling reflection of its Detroit roots, positioning itself as a valuable resource for the community.
